Railway Transfers If you are travelling to St Andrews by rail (either directly or from the airport) you will alight at Leuchars station, which is situated five miles from the town.  We would be pleased to meet you there and can offer assistance with your luggage (please note that trolleys are often unavailable and the station is sometimes unmanned). For your information, there are generally hourly trains to/from Edinburgh with a handful of direct trains to/from London each day.  Please contact ScotRail for exact times and information on other destinations. Leuchars station is also used by passengers travelling to many North Fife and East Neuk towns and villages including Cupar, Wormit, Newport-on-Tay, Tayport, Kingsbarns, Crail, Anstruther, Pitenweem, St Monans, Elie and Lundin Links, and we would be pleased to transport you to any of these destinations.  However, you should check whether Leuchars is your optimal station in view of your train's stops and your ultimate destination.
